Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Edo eye $35 billion International Oil Palm Market

The Edo state government in collaboration with the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC), will hold a one day training for producers and processors of oil palm in the state to improve there capacity for post-harvest handling
of the produce so as to tap the $35 billion international oil palm market.
Mr. Kelvin Uwaibi who is the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Godwin Obaseki on investment promotion said the training will hold October 2, in Benin city the Edo State Capital

The governors forum who invited the CBN governor to  a virtual meeting on Thursday on the recent CBN policy of redesigning the naira notes. Godwin Emefiele had announced the initial decision of the Bank to redesign the naira note on October 26, 2022, the Bank urging Nigerians not to wait until January 31, 2023, to get the new notes. The agenda of the meeting which is the economic and security implication of naira redesign and and withdrawal policy which have been the point of discussion for some time now.
