IGP warns FSARS to leave Cybercrime boys alone

Idris gave the warning yesterday at the FRARS headquarters at Magbo in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The inspector general of police who made it clear said
that the reason for setting up the unit was to tacke armed robbery and kidnapping crime case and not going after internet fraudstar otherwise know as Yahoo boys. He further said that as from now on, any FSARS officer found going after thethe cyber fraudstars called yahoo boys will be sanctioned; and that for now, the group will be on the normal police uniform until after all their fact finding are being resolved.
The IG was represented by the team leader of South West Monitoring Fact Finding Committee on SARS Reform, DCP Adepojulo Ilori.
